Project Manager- Museums, Art Installations & Immersive Spaces

Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Qualification: B.Tech (mandatory) + MBA (preferred)

Location: Gurgaon | On-site with travel as required

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of museum spaces, immersive centres, exhibitions, and experiential installations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, financial oversight, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, content, fabrication, AV, and civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate civil, structural, fabrication, AV, and digital integration works
• Oversee site execution as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards

2. Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Collaborate with designers, content, animation/VFX teams, and vendors
• Conduct review meetings and provide regular progress updates

3. Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare BOQs, evaluate quotations, and manage project budgets
• Monitor costs, control financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies

4. Vendor & Site Management

• Appoint and manage contractors, fabricators, and site vendors
• Ensure safety compliance and timely execution on-site
• Supervise installation of immersive technologies (projection, interactive systems, lighting, display systems)

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain contracts, approvals, reports, and project documentation
• Ensure statutory and safety compliance
• Manage final handover and project closure

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of construction, interiors, and structural execution
• Experience in museums, immersive centres, exhibitions, or themed environments
• Ability to manage cross-functional creative and technical teams
• Strong budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera/Excel

Preferred Profiles:

• B.Tech (mandatory)
• MBA in Operations/Project Management (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple sites
