Project Manager – Catalog Operations (E-Commerce)

About the Project

The role focuses on managing catalog and marketplace operations for a large-scale E-commerce platform, ensuring smooth coordination between operations, analytics, and engineering teams. The Project Manager will work closely with global stakeholders and clients to understand business requirements, prioritize operational tasks, and ensure successful execution of projects.

The role also involves leading an operations team, managing JIRA tickets, analyzing catalog data using SQL, and building dashboards using Sigma to monitor operational performance and marketplace catalog health.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-up meetings to review open tickets, identify blockers, and delegate tasks to the operations team.
• Manage and guide a team of 1015 members, ensuring tasks are completed based on business priorities and SLA timelines.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Track and manage tasks using JIRA, including ticket prioritization, backlog tracking, and sprint monitoring.
• Handle catalog operations and marketplace management, ensuring accurate product data and smooth item lifecycle management.
• Investigate catalog issues and operational problems using SQL-based data analysis.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards using Sigma to track KPIs and catalog performance.
• Work closely with engineering and analytics teams to support dbt models, data pipelines, and deployments.
• Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment between business, analytics, and engineering teams.
• Handle client communications and ticket escalations, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
• Ensure process documentation and workflow standardization to maintain operational consistency.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and SLA adherence.

Managing product catalog lifecycle including item onboarding, updates, issue resolution, and data quality monitoring.

• Team Management & Task Delegation:

Leading an operations team and ensuring efficient task allocation and productivity.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

Working with global stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.

• Operational Analytics & Reporting:

Using SQL and Sigma dashboards to analyze catalog performance and operational KPIs.

• Project & Ticket Management:

Tracking operational tasks and projects through JIRA and ensuring timely completion.

• Data & Deployment Collaboration:

Working with data teams on dbt models and supporting deployments related to analytics and reporting
