Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager & Business Analyst (PM/BA) to lead and deliver MSP IT support initiatives, digital transformation programs, AI adoption projects, and cybersecurity engagements.

This role combines endtoend project ownership with handson business analysis, ensuring projects are welldefined, wellgoverned, and delivered with measurable business and security outcomes.

You will act as a single point of accountability between customers, technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholdersowning scope, requirements, delivery, and success.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Own the full project lifecycle from discovery to closure.

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and change control.

Deliver projects across:

MSP onboarding and IT service transitions

Digital transformation and modernization initiatives

AI adoption and automation programs

Cybersecurity uplift, remediation, and compliance projects

Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to BAU MSP support.

Provide clear status reporting, executive updates, and steering committee communications.

Business Analysis & Requirements

Lead requirements discovery with business and technical stakeholders.

Document and manage:

Business, functional, nonfunctional, and security requirements

BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Process maps, workflows, and solution summaries

Translate business objectives into clear, actionable delivery scope.

Validate solutions against requirements and support UAT and golive readiness.

MSP & IT Services Focus

Understand and work within MSP service models, SLAs, and ITSM processes.

Support service design and improvement across incident, change, problem, and request management.

Identify automation and standardization opportunities within IT operations.

Coordinate with service desk, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.

Digital Transformation & AI Adoption

Support clients in defining digital transformation roadmaps.

Identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases, including:

IT service automation

AI copilots and productivity tools

Predictive analytics and reporting

Ensure AI initiatives are delivered with proper governance, risk awareness, and user adoption planning.

Cybersecurity & Risk

Deliver cybersecurity projects including:

Security assessments and gap analysis

Identity and access management improvements

Endpoint, email, cloud, and network security initiatives

Compliance projects (e.g. Essential Eight, ISO 27001, SOC2)

Ensure securitybydesign across all project initiatives.

Communicate cyber risks, controls, and mitigation strategies in businessfriendly language.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Proven experience combining Project Management and Business Analysis in IT environments

Strong background in MSP or IT services delivery

Experience delivering:

Digital transformation initiatives

AI or automation projects

Cybersecurity or compliance programs

Solid understanding of:

IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and MSP operations

Cybersecurity fundamentals and risk management

ITSM / ITIL processes

Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities

Certifications (Highly Desirable)

PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Project Management

CBAP / CCBA or equivalent Business Analysis certification

ITIL v4

Cloud, AI, or cybersecurity certifications (nice to have)
