Job Title: Practice Manager /Operations Head

Experience: 8 to 15 Years

Reporting To: Partners

Location: Mumbai

Job Overview:


The Practice Manager / Operations Head will act as the operational backbone of the firm, ensuring partner time is protected, design time is safeguarded, and cash flow remains healthy. This role brings financial visibility, operational discipline, and decision clarity across the practice while enabling partners to focus on design, strategy, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own overall financial visibility of the practice across projects and clients
  • Support fee proposals, fee negotiations, and commercial strategy
  • Prepare and manage billing schedules and ensure timely invoicing
  • Drive collections follow-up in coordination with the Accounts team
  • Monitor project financial health, risks, and cash flow


2. Client & Business Development Operations

  • Manage RFPs, EOIs, empanelment's, and institutional client processes
  • Handle proposal formatting, documentation, and submissions
  • Track leads, follow-ups, and incoming enquiries
  • Research potential leads and support proactive outreach; maintain and update the institutional client database
  • Review and refine business development and lead-generation communications


3. Project Start-up & Governance

  • Oversee project start-up systems including contracts, insurance, and consultant onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and statutory requirements
  • Standardize and streamline operational workflows across projects


4. Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare monthly reports for partners covering cash flow, project pipeline, and financial risk and exposure
  • Provide clear insights to support partner-level decision-making


5. Studio Operations & Policies

  • Establish and enforce studio policies, processes, and escalation frameworks
  • Act as the point of resolution for operational and client escalations; bring clarity in decision-making across teams and leadership
