Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee end- to-end supply chain project, ensuring seamless client engagement, timely delivery, and effective internal coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Demand forecasting, Production planning, inventory management, and raw material planning, Transport Management System (TMS) & Warehouse Management System (WMS) , along with a deep understanding of SCM (Supply Chain Management) processes and terminologies.
This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex client projects, drive internal alignment, unblock issues, and ensure high-quality outcomes. Experience in top consulting firms with the clients in FMCG/CPG sector is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project execution across multiple clients in the supply chain planning domain specifically in demand forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and raw material planning , Transport Management System (TMS) & Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Define project scope,objectives, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with client expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status dashboards.
- Track project progress, proactively identify roadblocks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure adherence to delivery schedules, budgets, and qualitystandards.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to internal leadership and clients.
- Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and proactive problem-solving.
- Understand client businesschallenges, translate them into actionable plans, and ensure delivery excellence.
- Manage client expectations, scope changes, and stakeholder alignment effectively.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising consultants, analysts, and technical experts.
- Mentor and guide team membersto ensure continuous improvement and professional development.
- Facilitate collaboration among functional leadsplanning, analytics, and technologyto ensure cohesive delivery.
- Drive accountability within the team and ensure project milestones are met.
- Supply Chain Expertise
- Apply hands-on understanding of demand planning, forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and raw material planning , Transport Management System (TMS) & Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Leverage knowledge of supply chain KPIs, S&OPprocesses, and planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan, etc.).
- Provide thought leadership on best practices in supply chain transformation.
- Support pre-sales, solutiondesign, and proposaldevelopment when needed.
Required Skills& Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degreein Supply Chain Management, Engineering,
Operations, Business or related field.
- 710 years of experience in project management within supply chain planning or related domains. Strong exposure to end-to-end supply chain planning (demand, supply, production, inventory, raw materials), Transport Management System (TMS) & Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a consulting and FMCG/CPG environment.
- Hands-on experience in project governance, PMO processes, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning tools(SAP IBP, APO, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- PMP/Prince2 or similar project management certification preferred (but not mandatory).
