Project leader - Sourcing

Your role

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the supplier identification / assessment / selection process
• Price negotiation & finalization
• Process set up at supplier end to ensure robust product quality
• Develop samples & prototype within the stipulated timeline
• Create vendor agreements
• Establish forecast & kanban at supplier end to reduce Inventory
• Material cost reduction from suppliers
• Identify VAVE projects and lead the implementation
• Define supplier capacity & initiate required actions
• Identify & mitigate supply continuity risks

• GD & T
• Gravity die casting, Pressure die casting, Forging & Machining,
• Problem solving techniques
• Data analytics
• Contracting & negotiation skills
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Good verbal & written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Diploma Holder in Mechanical Engineering with 12 - 15 years of experience or BE Mechanical with 8 – 10 years of experience.
