Description: Project Lead

Job Overview:
The Project Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by actively participating in project governance forums, tracking project activities, and managing risks. The role involves collaborating with Project Managers, providing timely reports, and supporting issue resolution to keep the project on track and meet its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Governance Participation: Actively participate in project governance forums, providing insights and updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Project Tracking: Monitor all project activities, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met. Take corrective action as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Highlight any issues or risks that may impact project success.
• Issue Resolution: Support the resolution of issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle by coordinating resources and facilitating communication among teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a project lead or similar role within a project-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Experience with risk identification and management strategies.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and processes.
