About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic Project Head Construction to lead the execution and delivery of large-scale commercial and IT infrastructure projects in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end construction of IT campuses, IT parks, or major commercial buildings, with strong capabilities in strategic planning, operations leadership, stakeholder management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead complete lifecycle management of construction projectsfrom conceptualization to handover.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure seamless coordination between all phases: design, execution, quality management, and compliance.
Operational & Site Leadership
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure alignment with project goals and company standards.
- Conduct regular site reviews to monitor progress, safety, and adherence to specifications.
- Resolve project challenges swiftly, ensuring zero disruption to timelines or quality.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, design consultants, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal leadership and on-ground execution teams.
- Provide timely updates and detailed progress reports to senior management and project sponsors.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare, track, and control project budgets to ensure profitable delivery.
- Analyze variances and take corrective action to prevent cost overruns.
- Optimize resource utilization for maximum productivity and efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure execution in strict accordance with design specifications, drawings, and technical standards.
- Enforce adherence to statutory norms, building codes, regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.
- Implement and monitor robust quality control processes to deliver world-class infrastructure.
Safety & Risk Management
- Establish a strong culture of safety at the site.
- Identify potential risks proactively and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary project teams.
- Foster a high-performance work culture and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Conduct capability assessments and support team training initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in the construction industry with significant exposure to large-scale IT or commercial projects.
- Proven expertise in delivering IT campuses, IT parks, tech hubs, or multi-story commercial infrastructures.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience handling large teams and multiple contractors.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet aggressive project milestones.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Strong understanding of MEP, structural, and architectural coordination.
- Knowledge of modern construction technologies and sustainable building practices.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
