Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibility

Project Execution & Site Management

• Oversee day-to-day site activities , ensuring work progresses as per plan, specifications, and deadlines.
• Monitor construction stages , including RCC, finishing, masonry, MEP works, and external development.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower, machinery , and resolve site-related issues promptly.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, drawings, and project specifications .
• Conduct regular inspections , identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with IS codes, safety protocols, and statutory requirements .
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for concrete testing, material approvals, and documentation.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports .
• Assist in preparing micro-schedules, bar charts, work plans , and monitoring progress vs. baseline.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve design or execution issues.
• Support the Project Manager in budget monitoring, resource planning, and contractor billing verification .

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of site measurements, material consumption, labour deployment , and work logs.
• Verify contractor bills , reconciliation statements, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Report delays, risks, and site challenges along with mitigation plans.
