Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control Planning

• • Develop QC checklists for formwork and reinforcement activities

  • Create inspection and test plans for critical activities

  • Establish hold points and witness points with consultants

  • Plan material testing schedules and frequencies

• Field Quality Control

• • Conduct detailed inspections of formwork installations

  • Verify reinforcement placement, spacing, and cover requirements

  • Monitor concrete placement activities for quality compliance

  • Document non-conformances and track corrective actions

• Testing & Documentation

• • Coordinate material testing for rebar and formwork materials

  • Maintain quality records and test certificates

  • Prepare quality reports for clients and consultants

  • Manage quality documentation systems

• Team Coordination

• • Interface with construction teams on quality requirements

  • Provide technical guidance to field personnel

  • Coordinate with external testing agencies

  • Support training programs for quality awareness

• Continuous Improvement

• • Analyze quality trends and identify improvement opportunities

  • Implement best practices from other projects

  • Support innovation in quality control methods

  • Participate in quality review meetings

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• 8-10 years in construction quality control

• Strong knowledge of IS codes and construction standards

• Experience with digital quality management tools
