Job Scope:

Own the endtoend planning, engineering, and delivery of valve and actuation projects from kickoff to closeout, coordinating closely with sales, engineering, procurement, assembly, and quality teams. Ensure ontime, compliant, and profitable execution through effective planning, technical submittals, documentation control, and stakeholder communication.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project kickoff with Sales and Quotation teams; develop project plans, roles, and Gantt schedules; align internal teams and customers on scope, timelines, and risks
  • Deliver complete engineering outputs including part numbers, BOMs, P&IDs, 3D models, GA drawings, wiring schematics, and technical submittals in line with project specifications
  • Partner with Sales, Applications Engineering, Procurement, Assembly, and Quality teams to convert specifications into buildable and shippable solutions
  • Plan and manage ITPs, inspection and witness activities (including hydrostatic and seat leakage testing), material certifications (EN 10204 3.1/2.2), and project documentation (VDRL, MRB, data dossiers)
  • Act as the technical focal point for clarifications, deviations, approvals, and coordination with thirdparty inspection bodies (DNV, BV, Lloyds Register)
  • Review and validate actuator sizing, accessories, and control schemes against shutoff, differential pressure, air supply, and project requirements
  • Maintain revisioncontrolled records, deliver asbuilt documentation and test certificates, and support project closeout through KPI reporting and lessons learned


What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in the valve and automation industry, including pneumatic and electric actuation and control systems
  • Engineering background preferred (Mechanical or Instrumentation), or an Associate degree with equivalent industry experience
  • Solid working knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and PED; exposure to Middle East specifications (e.g. ADNOC, Aramco) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, with experience producing GA drawings, BOMs, actuator sizing, and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of document control and project documentation, including technical dossiers, certificates, VDRLs, and MRBs
  • Experience coordinating inspection and testing activities, including hydrostatic, seat leakage, and functional testing, with customer or notified body witnesses when required
  • Ability to drive right first-time engineering, meet delivery milestones, and support profitable project execution
  • Comfortable working with ERP, planning, and document management workflows in a cross functional environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Production Engineering
  • Knowledge of Shell and TOTAL valve and actuator technical requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interfacing with customers, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
