Senior Data Project Lead SSOT (GCP)

Were looking for a value-driven data project leader to help drive and coordinate critical initiatives for our global Single Source of Truth (SSOT) team. This role sits at the center of multiple high-impact data programs as we consolidate and modernize our global data ecosystem in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Youll lead execution across several concurrent data initiatives, ensuring work is clearly tracked, dependencies are visible, and delivery stays aligned with business outcomes. This role prioritizes data integrity, transparency, and business impact over rigid methodology.

What Youll Be Working On

• Leading key decommissioning and consolidation efforts as we bring global data into our GCP data lake
• Supporting a large-scale migration of existing data into a new GCP project
• Coordinating a company-wide CDC initiative to standardize change data capture processes
• Managing ingestion of 700+ files from Impulse, core SAP data, and multiple marketing data sources
• Ensuring data from diverse systems is connected in ways that drive real business value

What Youll Do

• Lead 23 high-priority data projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
• Own Jira execution for assigned projects, ensuring work is accurately captured, capacity is reflected correctly, and milestones are tracked
• Run daily execution calls, surface risks early, and escalate blockers immediately when needed
• Maintain clear, reliable dashboards that reflect project health, capacity, and delivery progress
• Act as the connective layer between data engineers, technical teams, and business stakeholders by translating technical work into business-relevant outcomes
• Foster an inclusive team environment by actively encouraging participation and diverse technical perspectives

What Were Looking For

• Strong understanding of how data drives business value and why data integrity matters at scale
• Hands-on experience managing data-focused projects within a GCP environment
• Comfort working across complex data ecosystems with multiple source systems and dependencies
• Solid understanding of data security principles and their importance in a global data platform
• Ability to dive into technical conversations, ask the right questions, and ensure teams are executing effectively
• Advanced Jira experience, including work tracking, dependency management, blocker escalation, and capacity planning
• Background in data-specific initiatives (data platforms, SSOT, migrations, governance, analytics foundations) rather than purely general Agile delivery
