At Bhargav Group, we are looking to bring in an architect with 2 to 4 yeas of work experience who is curious, responsible, and excited by the process of building not just the outcome.

We are a practice working across scales from institutional campuses and high-rise buildings to mixed-use developments and residential projects. Our work often involves navigating complex requirements, multiple stakeholders, and evolving briefs.

We see architecture as a continuous process one that responds, adapts, and improves over time.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. You will be involved in projects from design to execution preparing drawings and submittals, developing and coordinating designs, and supporting project timelines. The role involves working closely with consultants, clients, and contractors, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards

• Assist in design development across multiple project typologies
• Prepare drawings, presentations, and working details
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.)
• Participate in site discussions and execution processes
• Contribute to design conversations, reviews, and iterations

Who is this for

Were hands-on. We travel to sites, stay closely involved, and learn through the process. The studio is collaborative, direct, and focused on growing together through the work.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and is comfortable navigating both design thinking and execution.

• Proficiency in architectural design tools
• Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper is an added advantage
• Experience in preparing submittals and documentation
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate timelines and resources
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with teams and stakeholders
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
