Role: Progress DBA
Location: Bangalore
experience: 8-12
Must Have:
Competent in OE V10 & OE V11 Skills as mentioned below.
Proficient in OE installation and configuration.
Good Working experience on Migration of Openedge from OE10 to OE11
Well versed with Unix shell scripting create new or modifying existing scripts to support the entire gamut of DBA activities
Implementation of OE architecture.
Creation of New databases.
Configuration of Databases with the required startup parameters.
Monitoring \ Maintenance of Databases.
Fine Tuning of Database performance.
Configuration and Monitoring of Database Backup \ Restore.
Perform Dump & Load of Databases as per business requirement.
Quick Trouble shooting of Database issues.
Good Knowledge on OE database security features.
Well versed with AI Imaging (Configuration, Maintenance and Monitoring).
Good Proficiency in Administration of Apache Webservers, Progress Webspeed and Progress AppServers.
Installation and Maintenance of Progress Hybrid Data Pipeline.
Basic Knowledge on SQL Interfacing with Progress.
