Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Desktop Support and will be comfortable working in a hybrid remote work model. This role involves rotational shifts and does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the companys overall success.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime.Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement effective support strategies.Maintain accurate documentation of support activities configurations and procedures.Assist in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company standards.Implement security measures to protect desktop systems from vulnerabilities and threats.Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their technical proficiency.Participate in the evaluation and selection of new desktop technologies and tools.Ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other IT infrastructure components.Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in desktop support.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.Show expertise in installing configuring and maintaining desktop systems.Exhibit strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and macOS.Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Have the ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote work model.Be willing to work rotational shifts as required.Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Possess strong organizational and documentation skills.Show commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Have experience with remote desktop support tools and techniques.Display a strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
