Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance with hands-on experience in tools such as GitLab HP ALM Jenkins Jira Postman SOAP/REST Splunk Restful APIs Webservices RestAssured Cucumber and Selenium. Experience in cable equipment and cable technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.Utilize GitLab for version control and collaboration on testing projects.Implement and manage test cases using HP ALM to track and report defects.Automate testing processes using Jenkins to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.Track and manage project tasks and issues using Jira for better project management.Perform API testing using Postman to validate the functionality of web services.Test SOAP and RESTful web services to ensure they meet specified requirements.Monitor application performance and logs using Splunk to identify and troubleshoot issues.Develop and execute automated test scripts using RestAssured for API testing.Use Cucumber to create and execute behavior-driven development (BDD) test cases.Implement Selenium for automated browser testing to ensure web application quality.Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.Document test plans test cases and test results to maintain comprehensive testing records.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.Demonstrate proficiency in using GitLab HP ALM Jenkins Jira Postman SOAP/REST Splunk Restful APIs Webservices RestAssured Cucumber and Selenium.Have experience in testing both SOAP and RESTful web services.Show ability to automate testing processes using tools like Jenkins and Selenium.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Experience in cable equipment and cable technologies is a plus.Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.Work well in a collaborative team environment.Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of indust
