Established in 1999 , Dev Rishi Educational Society (DRES) is a Non-Government Organization working across versatile sectors including Skill Development & Livelihood Promotion, Capacity Building, Health, Hygiene, Water and Sanitation .

We are inviting applications for the following vacancy:

Date of Posting: 23/12/2025 | Base Location: Dehradun | Work Type: Full-Time

1. Position: Business Development Directors and Associates

Area of Expertise:

Creating and developing new business opportunities with special focus on Livelihood | Skills | Water | Health | Environment | Human Resource , etc.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Post Graduate degree in Graduation / Post Graduation , with preferably 5 years of liaison experience in projects related to community development, livelihoods, and water & sanitation programs .

Strong writing and communication skills with command over English and Hindi .

Proficiency in MS Office, Canva, and AI-based tools .

Roles and Key Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & Growth
  • Create a strong database of new funding sources aligned with the organizations mission.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporates, foundations, government bodies, and international agencies to enhance business prospects and growth avenues.
  • Research and identify new donors, CSR partners, government schemes, and grant opportunities.
2. Proposal Development & Fundraising
  • Engage with government departments for MoUs, approvals, and policy advocacy.
  • Experience with government portals such as GeM, NGO DARPAN , etc.
  • Excellent proposal writing and donor engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of social issues including education, health, and livelihoods .
3. Partnerships & Alliances
  • Attend industry forums, CSR summits, and donor meets to represent the organization.
  • Develop partnerships for joint ventures and collaborative projects in the social sector.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Program, Implementation, Finance, M&E) for technical inputs in proposals.
  • Ensure project designs meet donor expectations, scalability, social impact, and profitability.
