About the Team and the Role

The Program Management team at Ather is responsible for orchestrating the seamless integration of Hardware, Electrical, and Software sub-systems to adapt to evolving business requirements. We manage the complex coordination required to drive technical and operational excellence across the organization’s electric vehicle ecosystem.

This role is for a Program Manager who will lead digital transformation initiatives and manage the deployment of enterprise-level tools. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional alignment between technical and business teams, ensuring that enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, and CRM are integrated effectively to meet Ather’s scaling needs while adhering to our proprietary Ather Product Delivery Systems (APDS).

Responsibilities

• Lead 15-35 member cross-functional teams to execute complex 6-9 month programs, aligning enterprise EPICs with organizational OKRs and P&L objectives.

• Manage multiple scrum teams through the full development lifecycle, from gathering business requirements (BRDs/PRDs) to final deployment.

• Oversee day-to-day sprint execution, including planning, monitoring, and closure, while ensuring high predictability in system delivery.

• Coordinate the integration and release processes of enterprise tools such as ERP SAP, Salesforce, ScaleX, DMS, LMS, and CRM in an agile environment.

• Track and report on Product Quality Metrics, Delivery Metrics, and the business impact of features being developed.

• Identify system gaps and implement process improvements through systematic retrospectives to enhance resource utilization and execution.

• Proactively manage risks, red flags, and impediments by working with stakeholders to ensure zero disruption to business-as-usual (BAU).

• Facilitate "creative friction" environments to ensure data-backed decision-making and manage external supplier/vendor partnerships effectively.

Experience and Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (IT/CSE/ECE/EEE) degree in Engineering.

• 9-11 years of experience within Enterprise Tools providers or SaaS organizations.

• Proven background in delivering modules for tools such as SAP, DMS, LMS, ERP, CRM, or JIRA.

• Recent experience in Program/Project Management with a strong grasp of Scrum and Agile best practices.

• SAFe Scrum Master, PMP/PGMP, or MBA is a definite plus.

Must Have Competencies

• Expertise in Enterprise Tool Integration and management of platforms like ERP SAP, Salesforce, and CRM.

• Mastery of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Proficient in Program Governance using tools such as JIRA, Gantt Pro, and G-Suite for complex project tracking.

• Advanced technical orchestration of cross-functional teams to solve complex technology and operational problems.

Good to Have Competencies

• Implementation of proprietary delivery systems and digital transformation frameworks across large teams.

• Strategic risk management and mitigation planning within resource-constrained environments.

• Utilization of Product Quality and Delivery Metrics to drive data-backed business impact analysis.

• Management of external vendor partnerships and stakeholder alignment for enterprise-wide scaling.
