Job Description

Role Overview:

Design plays a critical coordination role within the Design team, ensuring seamless execution of site-related processes across design, expansion, and vendor ecosystems. With an architectural background, the role brings technical understanding to site feasibility, spatial interpretation, and design nuances, while driving operational efficiency through structured tracking, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Data & SDR (Site Data Report) Management

Initiate and manage end-to-end SDR processes for all upcoming sites.

Coordinate with empanelled SDR vendors to schedule site visits and measurement activities.

Connect SDR vendors with the Site SPOC to ensure smooth on-ground execution.

Track SDR timelines and ensure timely submission of complete, accurate site measurement data. Maintain repository and documentation of all site data reports.


2. Design Process Tracking & Documentation

Maintain and update daily design trackers across projects and sites.

Manage area statements, area sheets, and spatial data documentation.

Ensure accuracy of site measurements and cross-verification with design inputs.

Support the design team with structured data required for layout planning and feasibility assessments.


3. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as a coordination bridge between:

Design Team

Expansion (Business) Team

Retail Expansion Team

Site SPOCs

External Vendors (Design)

Keep stakeholders informed of site progress, SDR status, measurement updates, and documentation timelines.

Proactively flag risks, delays, or discrepancies in site data. 4. Vendor & PO Tracking

Track Purchase Orders (POs) related to SDR and design-linked vendors.

Monitor vendor deliverables against the agreed scope and timelines.

Maintain status updates on PO issuance, billing milestones, and closure documentation. 5. Architectural & Feasibility Support

Apply architectural knowledge to:

Interpret site drawings and measurements.

Identify potential feasibility constraints.

Highlight design or structural risks early in the process.

Support the team in optimising spatial planning and functional layouts.


Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of architectural drawings and site measurement processes

High attention to detail in area calculations and documentation

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

Process-oriented and highly organised

Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously

Strong follow-up and vendor management skills

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel-based trackers Clear communication and escalation capability


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or related field

3-4 years of experience in design coordination/project management/retail expansion

Experience in multi-site rollouts or retail/fitness/commercial projects preferred
