Program Manager Operations

We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead our training delivery and floor operations at Datavalley. This role owns the complete journey of every student from batch onboarding to interview readiness, and ensures our training engine runs with discipline, structure and consistency.


Role Purpose


The Program Manager is the operational backbone of Datavalleys training function, responsible for end-to-end delivery of all programs, both offline and online. They ensure every student moves through a structured learning pipeline, every trainer delivers as per plan, and every day on the training floor produces tangible learning output.


As Datavalley scales its bootcamps and job-oriented courses, the Program Manager will build and refine systems, SOPs and processes so that multiple batches, technologies and trainers can run in parallel without loss of quality or discipline. This role is tightly linked to student outcomes, training quality and Datavalleys long-term reputation in the market.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own and manage the master timetable for all batches (offline and online), ensuring there are no clashes in classrooms, trainer availability or lab resources.
  • Track every student through clearly defined stages (classroom projects interview readiness) and control progression based on stage-gate criteria.
  • Coordinate intensive tracks like advanced or backlog batches, ensuring they receive focused, interview-oriented preparation rather than generic theory.
  • Maintain and continuously improve standardised curricula, milestones and project blueprints for each technology track in collaboration with trainers and leadership.
  • Ensure every student achieves minimum outcomes before being marked interview-ready (projects, GitHub hygiene, resume readiness, mock performance).
  • Directly manage trainers: schedules, attendance, classroom delivery expectations, feedback, and performance tracking.
  • Collect and act on student feedback after sessions, document trainer performance, and escalate persistent issues with evidence to management and HR.
  • Drive a disciplined, high-energy training floor: attendance, punctuality, break structures, utilisation of classrooms, labs and self-study zones.
  • Run daily operational reporting: consolidate attendance, problem-solving counts, project commits and mock scores into a daily scoreboard shared with leadership.
  • Build and maintain SOPs for all core operational processes to ensure the floor can run smoothly even in their absence.
  • Coordinate closely with the placements team to hand over interview-ready students with proper documentation and to loop back interview feedback into curriculum improvements.


Ideal Profile


  • 37 years of experience in training operations, program management, learning and development, or bootcamp/coaching centre administration.
  • Strong experience working in education, edtech, IT training, or similar high-intensity learning environments.
  • Excellent people management skills with prior exposure to managing trainers, instructors, faculty or team leads.
  • Comfortable working on the floor (not a desk-only role) being physically present in classrooms, labs and common areas to maintain discipline and energy.
  • Strong planning and scheduling capability; ability to juggle multiple batches, tracks and trainers without losing control.
  • High ownership mindset, structured in documentation and reporting, and comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
