JD: Salesforce Program Manager Competency Lead
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for Competency.
- Customize project delivery methods and process and implement proactive strategies as relevant for the competency.
- Establish and enforce best practices for Salesforce implementations, customization and optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Salesforce specialists, including developers, architects and consultants who are part of the competency.
- Provide guidance on project assignments, ensuring the team delivers high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and contribute to the pre-sale process to include documentation and pre-sale deliverables.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering effective and user-friendly Salesforce solutions.
- Encourage and support team members in obtaining relevant Salesforce Cloud certifications and to remain current
- Provide oversight and governance of sold and managed Salesforce projects and manage the delivery of and help coordinate all elements of a Salesforce Core and/or Industry Cloud implementation
- Serve as day-to-day Program Goverannce SME to internal and client teams.
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Responsible for reviewing, monitoring, controlling and delivering a portfolio of discrete projects with the objective of delivering them as per agreed scope, objective, timelines, cost and quality parameters
- Responsible for reviewing all aspects of the solution including efforts, plans, Technologies involved, KPI/SLA commitments and any other aspects that impact deliverability as well as planned profitability of the program
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
- Participate & drive renewals. Extend support to pre-sales cases for business benefits. Win, manage & run inflight projects
- Responsible for handling a span of 80 - 100 FTEs
- Responsible for managing external and internal Stakeholders
- Meet Organizational performance matrices as per applicable policies, Perform & Participate in various quality & risk audit as per applicable compliances.
Skills Required
- Delivery management professional with 5+ years of relevant program/delivery management and overall level 15+ years of Experience
- Experience in running large ADM, Transformation & Agile engagements
- Experience in designing measurement criteria for performance of Operations and Development programs.
- Experience in preparing management reports, weekly and monthly status reports and presenting to customer.
- Knowledge of Profit and Loss aspects, Operationalizing policies, procedures, MIS, Forecasting and Scheduling techniques.
- Experience in work planning, estimating/budgeting, productivity measurement and management, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management.
- Experience in delivering enterprise applications, CX / CRM programs is a plus
- Experience in managing multi-cultural, diverse and globally distributed teams
- Ability to work with different levels of management throughout an organization, excellent customer focus
- Strong experience in Agile way of working
- Good Analytical & problem-solving skill.
- Creative, organized, and process-focused with strong technical competence with strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences.
