Title : Program Manager – Content Innovation 

About the Role: 

Gartner is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead and drive multiple high-impact programs and projects focused on content innovation, including data acquisition and management initiatives that enable next-generation content creation. This role will oversee strategic system implementations, survey tool and data analytics projects, and foster innovation across the content lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex programs, translating business processes into IT requirements, and collaborating closely with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA backlog management, and exposure to AI projects is a definite plus. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead and manage a project related to content innovation, including data acquisition, data management, and data analytics to support content creation and business objectives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and analyze business processes, translating them into actionable IT requirements and strategic system enhancements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of strategic system projects, working closely with developers, product owners, and business teams. 
  • Drive tool experiences and data analytics initiatives to enhance the quality and impact of content products. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, with a strong interest in AI and a willingness to lead or support internal AI-driven projects. 
  • Partner with business owner to formulate program roadmaps, write and refine stories, manage JIRA backlogs, and facilitate effective prioritization in alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Manage stakeholder communications, set expectations, and ensure alignment across multiple teams and executive sponsors. 
  • Well versed with Agile/Scrum practices, collaborating with Scrum Masters to ensure effective sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery cadence. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve program issues, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Monitor program performance, track KPIs, and report progress to leadership and executive stakeholders. 
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 6–8 years of experience in program or project management, with a strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies  
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent programs/projects, especially those involving content innovation, data acquisition/management, and analytics. 
  • Proficiency in JIRA for story writing, backlog management, roadmap planning, and tracking program deliverables. 
  • Proven ability to translate complex business processes into clear IT requirements and system solutions. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing across all levels of the organization. 
  • Adept at driving prioritization efforts and facilitating decision-making in a matrixed environment. 
  • Experience working closely with developers, product owners, and business teams. 
  • Exposure to or a strong interest in AI technologies and experience supporting or leading AI-related projects is a plus. 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. 
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
