Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Peenya, Bangalore, India

Experience: 45 years in aerospace/precision manufacturing projects

Qualification: Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Production/Industrial)

Certifications: Green Belt (Lean Six Sigma), PMP

The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex aerospace manufacturing projects at MSA Global Technology & Engineering Private Limited. The role requires managing project schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring adherence to AS9100D standards, customer requirements, and quality metrics.

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for multiple aerospace programs.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project schedules and budget targets.
• Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.

1. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients (GE India, IAMPL, Dynamatic, NEST Group), and suppliers.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate status updates, risks, and mitigation plans.

1. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all projects comply with AS9100D standards, customer specifications, and internal QMS procedures.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

1. Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track and report issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal impact on delivery.

1. Process Improvement & Lean Implementation

• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles (Green Belt level) to improve project efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the project and plant operations.

1. Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
• Optimize utilization of machines, manpower, and materials to achieve project targets efficiently.

1. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain all project documentation, including schedules, status reports, risk logs, and change requests.
• Prepare presentations for senior management and clients highlighting project performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Strong program/project management skills with PMP certification.
• Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• 45 years of program/project management experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and complex manufacturing projects.
