Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a highly skilled MDM Architect (Profisee) to lead the implementation, and governance of scalable, secure, and high-performing master data management solutions across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering & Analytics, this hands-on leadership role focuses on modernizing the data platform, guiding the adoption of emerging technologies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.As part of Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to deliver exceptional value through real estate services, this role plays a key part in enabling enterprise-wide data strategy, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities—unlocking insights that drive performance, optimize operations, and enhance client value.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and administration of Profisee MDM within a modern, cloud-native and on-prem data ecosystem.
- Design and maintain MDM data models, domains, hierarchies, match/merge rules, and survivorship strategies to ensure trusted golden records.
- Configure and administer Profisee, including security roles, user provisioning, and platform performance optimization.
- Develop scalable, high-performance integration solutions with Azure Data Factory, Synapse/Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Partner with Data Governance teams to implement standards for data quality, lineage, and metadata using Profisee and Azure Purview.
- Conduct architectural reviews, performance tuning, and system reliability initiatives to support enterprise-scale MDM adoption.
- Define and maintain reusable configuration patterns for data quality rules, stewardship workflows, and integration logic.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure MDM solutions align with governance policies and business outcomes.
- Develop POCs and prototypes to evaluate and implement emerging MDM and governance capabilities in Azure and Profisee SaaS.
- Provide training, onboarding, and ongoing support for data stewards and business users to ensure effective stewardship processes.
- Implement DevOps/DataOps best practices for Profisee deployment and configuration management, including Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create detailed technical and governance documentation and promote collaboration across data engineering, governance, and analytics teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in data management, governance, or MDM, with at least 3+ years in Profisee MDM design and administration.
- Proven experience designing and deploying MDM platforms (Profisee preferred, others such as Informatica, Reltio, or SAP MDG considered).
- Deep hands-on expertise with Azure ecosystem: Data Factory, Synapse/Fabric, Purview, Databricks, and SQL-based data integration.
- Strong understanding of data governance, master data concepts (golden record, survivorship, match/merge), and stewardship workflows.
- Experience with platform administration, including security, authentication (AD/Azure AD), and system performance monitoring.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and automation frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in commercial real estate, financial services, or other data-intensive operational environments.
- Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns (data fabric, data mesh, data lakehouse).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or .NET for scripting and automation in MDM solutions.
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Relevant certifications such as Profisee MDM, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, or TOGAF.
