Eligibility & Qualification

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Mandatory)
• Masters Degree in relevant specialization with consistently strong academic record
• Compliance with respective council norms (UGC/AICTE/ICAR/BCI/NCAHP)

Department-Specific Academic Background:

• CSE: Ph.D. in Computer Science / Engineering / IT
• Management / Agri Business: Ph.D. in Management / Agri Business / Allied field
• Agriculture: Ph.D. in Agriculture / Agronomy / Horticulture / Allied discipline
• Law: Ph.D. in Law with LL.M. as per BCI norms
• Hospitality: Ph.D. in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management
• Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy: Ph.D. in relevant clinical discipline with valid council registration
• Paramedical & Occupational Therapy: Ph.D. in Allied Health Sciences with council registration (where applicable)
• Design: Ph.D. in Design / Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Allied specialization

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industry experience post-masters degree
• At least 5 years as Associate Professor or equivalent
• Strong research portfolio with minimum 10 quality publications in peer-reviewed / indexed journals
• Experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars
• Funded research / consultancy projects preferred
• Industry / clinical / professional practice exposure desirable (where applicable)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership in UG, PG, and Doctoral programs
• Supervise Ph.D. scholars and major research initiatives
• Publish high-impact research and secure funded projects
• Mentor Associate and Assistant Professors
• Lead curriculum innovation and outcome-based education implementation
• Strengthen industry, clinical, field, or professional collaborations
• Contribute to NAAC/NBA/ICAR/BCI/NCAHP compliance and institutional governance
