Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research
• Publish in high-impact academic journals and policy platforms
• Develop and submit funded research proposals (national/international)
• Lead or support interdisciplinary and community-based research projects
• Mentor research scholars and junior researchers (as applicable)
• Contribute to Parul Universitys research ecosystem and societal outreach initiatives

Eligibility & Experience (Position-wise)

Practice Professor (Research / Practice-Based)

• PhD preferred (exceptional practitioners may be considered)
• Minimum 15+ years of proven professional, policy, or applied research experience
• Demonstrated impact through policy documents, national programs, NGOs, government bodies, or international agencies
• Strong publication record or well-documented professional practice portfolio

Professor (Research)

• PhD in Social Sciences or allied interdisciplinary research domain
• 1012 years of post-PhD research experience
• Strong publication record in Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals
• Experience as Principal Investigator (PI) / Co-PI on funded research projects

Associate Professor (Research)

• PhD with minimum 8 years of research experience
• Evidence of quality publications in reputed journals (Scopus)
• Demonstrated grant-writing and project leadership capability
• Experience in interdisciplinary research preferred

Assistant Professor (Research)

• PhD awarded or thesis submitted
• 05 years of post-PhD research experience
• Clearly defined research agenda
• Basic skills in grant writing and data analysis

Research Associate

• PhD in Social Sciences
• 0-2 years of research experience (will be plus)
• Proficiency in research tools, fieldwork, and documentation

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Masters degree in Social Sciences / Humanities / Interdisciplinary Research with minimum 2 years as JRF or equivalent
• OR
• PhD (completed or thesis submitted) in Social Sciences
• Proven experience in field research, data analysis, and academic writing
