Production Lead - VTOL UAV

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced VTOL Production Lead to oversee the end-to-end production of Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance, with a strong background in managing complex assembly lines and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production of VTOL platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement production strategies, processes, and best practices for efficient manufacturing.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of components.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of critical components.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing production team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 15+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in VTOL or UAV production processes.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with defense industry compliance and certification standards.

Preferred:

• Experience in composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Exposure to defense projects and working with government agencies.
