About the Role: As a Production Engineer for UAV Manufacturing with a specialization in composites, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for UAV components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the production of top-quality, reliable, and efficient UAV systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Functional:

• Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for UAV components made from composite materials.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and enhance production efficiency.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure the manufacturability of UAV designs and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Provide technical support and training production staff on composite manufacturing techniques and best practices.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for UAV composite production.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of production processes, procedures, and quality control measures

Technical Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of fabrication processes, including material usage, process parameters, and inspection results.
• Generate reports for quality assurance purposes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in composite parts fabrication, including layup, resin infusion, and vacuum bagging.
• Familiarity with composite materials, adhesives, and bonding techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
