Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Test Specialist with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Guidewire applications and Selenium along with domain experience in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive testing of Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter ClaimCenter and BillingCenter to ensure functionality and performance.Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test plans accordingly.Identify document and track defects and issues ensuring timely resolution and retesting.Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting domains.Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Stay updated with the latest testing tools techniques and trends to enhance testing capabilities.Mentor and guide junior testers sharing knowledge and best practices.Work closely with developers to understand the technical aspects of the product and provide input on testability.Ensure that all testing activities are aligned with the companys goals and contribute to the overall success of the product.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in testing Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.Have expertise in using Selenium for automated testing.Demonstrate solid understanding of Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting domains.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.Have strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.Hold a relevant certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent.Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Exhibit strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify root causes.Have experience with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or similar.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent certification relevant to testing and quality assurance.
