How will you make an impact?
The Product Specialist (Informatics & Automation) will be responsible for Business development and technical sales to support strategic growth in District 2 region (Karnataka, Telangana, AP, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerela, North east) for Software Informatics and Automation division. The position will require frequent interaction with various groups within the company, including Application team, Product Marketing, R&D, product support, commercial teams, demo labs, as well as our customers. This position will be reporting to the APAC Business Manager-Informatics
What will you do?
- Drive the technical sales of Informatics. He/She must work on strategic growth of both the product lines in this region.
- Work closely with Sales and Technical team to close deals.
- Support collaborations with key opinion leaders from application perspective and leverage data/results from such collaborations for marketing collateral
- Need to generate new opportunity by demand generation and working with Marketing division to execute the strategy
- Strong understanding and drive for LIMS, Client server based and digital lab solutions.
- Need to conduct Account seminars, Marketing seminars.
- Interact with the global commercial teams to support pre- and post- sales requirements
Primary Location - Bangalore
Secondary Location - Hyderabad
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required.
- Typically, at least 10+ years’ experience of informatics sales
- Strong market and customer knowledge
- Excellent presentation along with strong communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- High comfort level of interacting, discussing, and presenting to internal/external customers
- Ability to travel 75%
