- Minimum Experience: 10-12 Years in relevant industry. (Min 5 years in Solar Industry)

Overview:
The product planning and marketing leader will lead the product LCM activities & marketing function at the renewable BU across all segments & product lines Residential, C&I and utility segment of the PV Solar & BESS Market in India.
The role manages products such as GTI, hybrid inverters, Solar PV modules, Solar PCU, and solar batteries. It requires direct coordination with sales, marketing, branches, and customers, demanding strong technical knowledge to monitor sales trends. The candidate should conduct competitive benchmarks, analyse rival sales data, and provide technical support to sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Product Lifecycle Management (LCM)
- Access market trends for products sales, new products, competitor products variants and to develop a strong product portfolio.
- Lifecycle Management and product portfolio review.
- Lead business case development for new products
- Lead and constantly monitor various statutory approvals and documentation wrt certification, IEC, BIS, BEE and ensure 100% compliance
- Track & manage end to end Purchase, Sales, Inventory (aka PSI) to ensure timely product support to sales, BD and Brach Teams. Flash PSI dashboards on regular basis.
- Manage feedback loop cycle from sales, service and customers for product stabilization & variant development.
- Build and manage relationships with customers co-ordinate factory visits, pre-shipment inspections etc
2.Product Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Lead Havells Solar & BESS Brand presence across customer events, key technical seminars and industry summits
- Manage PR agencies, leadership interviews and business thought leadership agenda around innovation at Havells.
- Organize product launch events (Technical Seminars, conclaves, exhibitions etc)
- Collaborate with Central Marcom & D2C Teams to drive the e-commerce business
- Lead agency ecosystem (creatives catalogue for new products, E-mailers, Product Presentations, demo kits) with strong governance and ROI discipline
- Lead end to end digital lead generation and track conversion success metrics to drive RoI
3.Market Research, Policy & Regulations
- Track and interpret MNRE guidelines, state solar policies, net metering and gross metering regulations, technical specification, from IEC, MNRE, BIS, BEE etc
- Thorough knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Analyse competitor activity, pricing trends, market share and subsidy structures
- Use insights around policy regulations, market intelligence to continually drive brand premiumization across product categories
