Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BASE24 Product Owner with deep expertise in ACI BASE24 / BASE24-eps systems to lead product vision, implementation strategy, and delivery for mission-critical ATM/POS acquiring platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with business acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for BASE24 / BASE24-eps platforms.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact and regulatory requirements.
• Lead BASE24 implementation, upgrade, and migration initiatives.
• Oversee certification processes (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Amex).
• Ensure compliance with ISO8583 messaging standards and acquiring transaction flows.
• Guide architecture decisions in collaboration with technical leads.
• Monitor release cycles, production deployments, and issue resolution.
• Mentor and provide direction to BASE24 developers, analysts, and implementation teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years in BASE24 / BASE24-eps.
• Strong understanding of Nonstop TAL / COBOL, C++, and BASE24 architecture.
• Deep knowledge of:
• POS / ATM acquiring
• Transaction sets
• Clearing & settlement
• Merchant management
• ISO8583 protocol
• Experience working on ACI BASE24 implementation and configuration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in the banking or payments domain is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BASE24-eps upgrades or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to Azure / AWS environments.
• Prior experience leading cross-functional agile teams.
