About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Personal Loans Product team. This individual will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making to support product performance and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in data analysis, with hands-on experience in analytical tools and languages such as SAS and SQL. The candidate should also have a strong ability to build, analyze, and automate business reports.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for the Personal Loans Product team, supporting strategic and tactical decision making.
• Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards to monitor product performance and key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Risk, and Operations, to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Perform data validation and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Generate reports and visualizations that provide clear insights and recommendations on product performance and customer behavior.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the existing reporting processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 27 years of hands-on experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in building and automating business reports.
• Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of personal loans or other retail lending products.
• Familiarity with other analytical tools or programming languages, such as Python or R.
