Product Manager :

Connected Health & Wearable health Devices and dashboards.

The Product Manager will be accountable for building a scalable, secure, and high-performing connected health platform with measurable impact on device integration speed, data reliability, user adoption, and system scalability.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager (Assignment) with strong IT and technical product skills to lead the design and execution of a centralized dashboard platform that integrates data from multiple Bluetooth-enabled wearable and medical devices.

The role will focus on connecting, aggregating, and visualizing health data from devices such as Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM), Blood Pressure monitors, SpO devices, weighing scales, and similar IoT-based health devices.

The Product Manager will work closely with engineering, data, UX/UI, and external device partners to deliver a scalable, secure, and user-friendly solution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

Define product vision, scope, and roadmap for the wearable device integration platform.

Translate business and clinical requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.

Prioritise features based on impact, feasibility, and timelines for assignment delivery.

Dashboard & Platform Development

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle of a health data dashboard aggregating inputs from multiple Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Define functional requirements for real-time and near-real-time data ingestion, visualization, and alerts.

Ensure dashboards are intuitive, actionable, and customizable for different user personas (patients, clinicians, internal teams).

Device Integration & Data Flow

Work with engineering teams to integrate CGM, BP, SpO, weighing machines, and other wearables via Bluetooth, SDKs, APIs, or cloud platforms.

Define data models, data frequency, accuracy, and validation rules.

Ensure interoperability across devices from different manufacturers.

Technical & IT Collaboration

Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Review system architecture, data pipelines, and API designs to ensure scalability and performance.

Collaborate on mobile app and backend integration requirements where applicable.

Security, Compliance & Quality

Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with applicable healthcare and data protection standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, local regulations).

Participate in UAT, validate data accuracy, and ensure product readiness for deployment.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external device vendors, and technology partners.

Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Masters degree (MBA, MS, MTech) is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills & Experience

• 48 years of experience in Product Management in digital health, health tech, IoT, or connected devices.
• Proven experience delivering dashboards, analytics platforms, or data-driven products., Technical / IT Skills
• Strong understanding of Bluetooth-enabled devices, IoT ecosystems, and wearable technology.
• Experience working with APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms, and data integration pipelines.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and system architecture.
• Familiarity with mobile (Android/iOS) and web-based product ecosystems.
• Data & Visualization : Experience defining KPIs, metrics, and health data visualizations.
• Understanding of real-time vs batch data processing concepts.
• Proven ability to own products end-to-end on assignment / contract basis with clear delivery accountability.

Domain Knowledge

Exposure to medical devices such as CGM, BP monitors, SpO sensors, weighing machines or remote patient monitoring solutions.

Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical data interpretation.

Experience with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standards.

Prior experience working with wearable device manufacturers or health IoT platforms.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical or wellness devices.

Excellent knowledge of:

APIs, SDKs, REST services

Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Data ingestion pipelines (real-time and batch)

System architecture diagrams

Data flow and device-to-cloud communication

Experience collaborating closely with backend, mobile (Android/iOS), and frontend engineering teams.

Dashboard, Data & Analytics

Experience defining and delivering data dashboards and analytics platforms.

Strong understanding of:

Data visualization principles

KPI definition and metric tracking

Performance and latency considerations for dashboards

Ability to translate raw device data into meaningful, actionable insights.

Device Integration & Interoperability

Hands-on experience managing multiple device integrations in parallel.

Soft Skills & Execution Capability

Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business, clinical, and engineering teams.

High ownership mindset with ability to work independently in a fast-paced assignment environment.

Structured problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage ambiguity.

Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
