Product Manager

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Product Manager (Individual Contributor) to join the Opterra Financial Data Stack (FDS) Product Management Group , based in Hyderabad or Bangalore .

What Youll Do

• Own and shape the product vision for transaction and reference data modules, delivering master data management and asset servicing capabilities for investment management firms
• Translate vision into clear product roadmaps, feature definitions, and specifications through deep requirement gathering and business analysis
• Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to drive designs from concept to high-quality product delivery
• Continuously evaluate product progress using test cases and validation frameworks to ensure alignment with vision and specifications
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform product strategy
• Build strong business cases , estimate timelines and budgets, and communicate effectively with stakeholders through project plans, release notes, and updates
• Collaborate with fellow product managers on initiatives spanning multiple business areas to deliver holistic solutions

What Youll Need

• 7+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years in Product Management
• Strong expertise across the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle , with exposure to both buy-side and sell-side operations
• Solid understanding of asset management post-trade processes and financial instruments
• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams in a technology-driven environment
• Excellent academic background with a passion for building high-impact financial products
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder-influencing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail, quality, and delivery
• High personal maturity, ownership mindset, and a collaborative approach
