Product Manager

We are looking for a true domain expert to lead product innovation in oral care. This role is not suited for generic product managers. We want someone who thinks scientifically, understands formulations, claims, and oral health deeply, and can translate that expertise into category-defining products.

If you have worked hands-on with oral care formulations, R&D, regulatory claims, and innovation pipelines, this role gives you full ownership from idea to shelf.

• Lead end-to-end product development across oral care categories (toothpaste, mouthwash, treatments, devices, etc.)
• Work closely with R&D, formulation labs, and external partners to drive science-backed innovation
• Evaluate ingredients, formulations, efficacy, and safety aligned with regulatory and claim standards
• Own product claims, substantiation, and scientific positioning

• Conduct deep market, consumer, and competitor research within oral care
• Identify unmet oral health needs and white spaces
• Translate dentist insights, consumer feedback, and research into product opportunities
• Perform SWOT and category gap analysis for innovation planning

• Define clear product vision and long-term roadmap aligned with business goals
• Prioritize innovation pipelines based on science, feasibility, and market impact
• Set KPIs for product success (efficacy perception, adoption, retention, feedback)

• Partner with Marketing to build credible, science-led product narratives
• Work with Sales & Customer Support to close feedback loops from the market
• Coordinate with Design, Packaging, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams
• Act as the central bridge between science, business, and brand

• Lead user trials, dentist evaluations, and usability testing
• Analyze real-world feedback to improve formulations and product experience
• Ensure products meet usability, safety, and accessibility standards

• Track product performance using consumer data, feedback, and usage insights
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly product performance updates
• Present roadmap progress, insights, and recommendations to leadership and board

• BDS / MDS / PhD / Masters in Dentistry, Oral Biology, Pharma, or related field
• 610+ years of serious experience in oral care product development
• Strong understanding of:
• Oral care formulations
• Active ingredients & efficacy
• Regulatory claims & substantiation
• R&D coordination
• Experience with established oral care, FMCG, pharma, or high-science consumer brands
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
• Comfortable challenging assumptions with data and science
