Product Manager Life Insurance & Annuity

Location : Jaipur / Noida / Bangalore / Pune / Noida

Experience:

• 10+ years in Product Management, with at least 3+ years specializing in Life Insurance and/or Annuity products.
• Strong understanding of the Life and Annuity product lifecycle, regulatory environment, and core insurance processes (e.g., new business application, policy administration, actuarial modeling).

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Definition:
• Translate complex Life and Annuity business requirementsincluding policy mechanics, compliance, underwriting rules, and commission structuresinto clear, detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering, QA, and design teams.
• Agile Leadership:
• Serve as Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in all ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Maintain a well-groomed, ready-to-execute backlog and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, writing technical user stories, and driving successful sprint cycles.

Preferred Skills

• Deep knowledge of Life and Annuity products, compliance frameworks, and operational processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to bridge business and technology teams.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex products in a regulated environment.
