Qualifications

  • Education: a minimum of Masters degree in Biotechnology Immunology with an MBA, or PhD in Biotechnology / Immunology
  • Experience: 2+ years in product management, sales, or marketing in the life sciences industry, preferably with experience in ELISA, proteins, and antibodies preferred
  • (Pharma background will not be considered)


Role Description


This is a full-time on-site Product Manager - Immunology role located in Mumbai and involves frequent travel. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Product Manager - Immunology to manage and grow our portfolio of ELISA kits, proteins, and antibodies. This role requires a strong understanding of immunology and technical expertise in the life sciences industry. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic customer engagement, marketing initiatives, and sales support.


Key Responsibilities


Product Manager, Immunology is responsible for achievement of sales targets and drives continuous growth by establishing and executing strong marketing strategies for the India IA product business.


This position reports to the VP Sales and will work for expansion globally of the Krishgen ELISA brand as well. It will be an on-site role in Mumbai. You will drive the growth of the Immunology product portfolio by working closely with sales associates and clients in India.


In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To


  • Marketing Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies for immunology products, manage sales budgets, monitor performance against forecasts, and identify new business opportunities to drive overall growth and market share.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Coordinate market research, gather competitor data, analyze competitive activities, and create tools to counter them, ensuring maximum capture of market intelligence.
  • Product Management & Forecasting: Contribute to product improvement, develop and monitor product strategies, analyze sales data, and create long-term, quarterly, and monthly product forecasts.
  • Scientific Marketing & Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide scientific marketing support through CME's, academic programs, and publications, while collaborating with internal teams (sales, L&D, service) and regional marketing to align strategies and resolve key issues.
  • Training & Relationship Management: Conduct product training for both internal associates and external clients, and cultivate strong business relationships with customers and key experts.


Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements


  • This position will be required to have domestic India travel 30% of the time.
  • Language: English.


Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of immunology products.

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and MS Office.

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.


(Previous experience in the life sciences industry is preferred)
