Product Manager – GPM - Aftermarket

Job Role :

• Acquire deep technical understanding of air compressor products and contribute to improvement in product serviceability and service time to become best-in-class.
• Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) from aftermarket teams globally and the distributors to understand their stated needs and unstated wants, enabling product roadmap and initiation requirements from service and user experience aspects.
• Develop specialized knowledge in compressor control systems (native and master controllers) and contribute to future-proofing the products.
• Analyze engineering changes and prepare service bulletins for global aftermarket stakeholders. Prepare SOPs where necessary for field service teams.
• Acquire knowledge in industry best practices when it comes to aftermarket technical processes and systems used.
• Provide training on new and existing products on service aspects to the relevant aftermarket stakeholders globally. 

Job Responsibility :

• In-depth understanding of compressor service aspects - Competition benchmarking
• VoC collection and assist in product roadmaps and product initiation projects from the aftermarket perspective
• Understand and document stakeholders’ stated needs and unstated wants
• In-depth understanding of advanced native and master controller options for the compressors and contribute to future product needs that will make the features competitive
• Analyze engineering changes (ECRs) and release service bulletins as required.
• Prepare SOPs where needed for field service technicians
• Be conversant with state-of-the-art IT systems for aftermarket change management and improve processes 
•  Product/process training to the service team.
• Support in creating and updating training content. 

Experience Required :

•  Experience of 15+ years in service/aftermarket technical areas from engineering/industrial product segment, preferably from compressor industry
• Understanding of Aftermarket systems and processes.
• Experience in data analysis 
• Technical knowledge and Service experience of Compressors
• Experience in equipment service and training
• Good command on spoken and written English.
• Conversant with ERP and CRM systems and processes
• Experience in handling overseas service deliverables will be an added advantage
