We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager Finance Automation to lead finance digitalization, optimize workflows, and drive seamless integration across business functions. This role requires strong collaboration with the tech team to ensure scalable, automated financial processes across all operations .

Role Overview

This role sits within the Product Management team and owns the end-to-end product strategy and delivery for finance-related systems and automation initiatives .

You will work closely with the CFOs team, engineering, data, and operations to:

• Translate finance problems into clear product requirements
• Drive automation across AR, AP, reconciliation, treasury, reporting, and ERP workflows
• Improve accuracy, controls, and scalability of finance operations across geographies

This is not a finance operations role . It is a product role with deep finance context .

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Ownership - Finance Domain

• Own the product roadmap for finance systems including AR, AP, GL, reconciliation, treasury, taxation, and compliance workflows
• Act as the primary product interface between Finance, Tech, Data, and Operations
• Translate finance pain points into structured PRDs, user stories, workflows, and system requirements
• Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, risk reduction, compliance, and scalability

2. Finance Automation & Process Transformation

• Identify and eliminate manual finance processes through automation and system-led workflows
• Drive automation for:
• Accounts Receivable & Payable
• Bank, payment gateway, and ledger reconciliation
• Expense management and approvals
• Month-end and year-end close support
• Ensure strong auditability, controls, and exception handling in all automated flows

3. ERP & System Integration

• Own product requirements for ERP and finance system integrations across OMS, CRM, pricing, logistics, and data platforms
• Ensure accurate, real-time data flow between finance systems and upstream/downstream platforms
• Partner with engineering teams on APIs, data contracts, automation logic, and system design decisions
• Support finance system scalability for multi-country, multi-currency operations

4. Reporting, BI & Finance Data Products

• Work with data teams to build finance dashboards and reporting products for:
• Revenue, margin, cash flow, and working capital
• Aging, collections, payables, and reconciliation status
• Ensure finance stakeholders have real-time, reliable, and actionable insights
• Define metrics and success criteria for finance automation initiatives

5. Stakeholder Management & Delivery

• Work closely with:
• CFO and Finance Leadership
• Engineering and Architecture teams
• Operations, Supply Chain, and Retail teams
• Drive clear planning, execution, and communication across initiatives
• Balance speed, compliance, risk, and long-term scalability in decision making

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• CA / MBA Finance / Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Technology
• 58 years of experience in product management, finance transformation, or system-led finance roles
• Experience working on finance systems, ERP, or large-scale finance automation projects
• Exposure to retail, e-commerce, D2C, or omni-channel businesses is a strong plus

Finance Domain Knowledge (Must-Have)

• Strong understanding of:
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)
• Reconciliation (bank, gateway, ledger, inter-system)
• GL concepts, financial controls, and audit requirements
• ERP-driven finance workflows
• Ability to speak the language of finance while structuring problems like a product manager

Product & System Skills

• Strong experience writing PRDs, functional specs, and process flows
• Comfort working with engineering teams on system design and trade-offs
• Understanding of APIs, data flows, automation logic, and integration patterns
• Ability to break complex finance problems into phased, deliverable product increments
