Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Own end-to-end product lifecycle for monetization & RIS charter features: KPIs, discovery, requirements, design, implementation, launch, and optimization.

  • Make informed trade-off decisions while creating roadmaps, ensuring execution and time-to-market are optimized while balancing user needs and business priorities.

  • Build hypothesis driven product roadmap by qualitative and/or quantitative methods

  • Define UX flows and guardrails to preserve trust and reduce friction for ticket booking; ensure add on placement maximizes clarity and conversion.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to bring user-backward products to life, focus on delivering value to our users as soon as possible, and then iterating to maximize gains.

  • Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals.

  • Develop rich tools and analytics to measure and monitor the goals.

  • Deep thinking on long-term business needs and user focus while creating product roadmaps, and the ability to glean customer insights and feedback from multiple channels including through structured customer research.

  • Ensure fraud prevention & risk management practices are applied to products (chargebacks, refunds, misuse)

Educational Qualification: Engineer with Software Development experience + MBA, preferably both from Tier 1 institutes
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Product Management from B2C Industry

Key Skills / Experience:


  • 2+ years’ experience developing high growth B2C products on both mobile and desktop is a must, having worked on monetization product is highly desired

  • Proficient in Product Development (writing user stories, product specs), PDLC, and Product Management (driving usage, optimization, etc.) on both Web and Apps.

  • Experience in running rigorous A/B tests across apps & web, defining product success metrics, regular monitoring, hypothesis development, and validation, etc.

  • Strong data analysis capabilities and experience with Web and App analytics tools, heatmap tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, etc. Working knowledge of basic statistics and SQL

  • Business acumen to appreciate how all aspects of business come together and understanding levers for business growth and profitability

  • Comfort with ambiguity and with working on an MVP mode with fast iterations

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent execution, communication and attention to details. The candidate will need to be comfortable interacting with stakeholders across the three group brands - Goibibo, MakeMyTrip & redBus to influence the roadmap and maximize product synergies.

  • Structured thinking, strong written and verbal skills to process & deliver high-quality documents & facilitate technical & non-technical interactions.
