About the Role
As a Product Manager at AiSensy, you will own key product areas end-to-end: discovery PRD execution launch adoption. Youll work closely with engineering, design, QA, support, sales, and growth to build high-impact features that improve activation, retention, and monetization across the self-serve and sales-led customer base.
This role is execution-heavy. You should be comfortable going deep into funnels, event tracking, user feedback, and sprint delivery.
What Youll Own (Responsibilities)
Product Discovery & Strategy
- Own a product/problem area (e.g., automation journeys, broadcast + segmentation, WhatsApp forms, inbox, templates, analytics, integrations, onboarding, etc.).
- Run structured discovery: customer calls, support ticket mining, sales feedback loops, competitive analysis.
- Define the problem clearly, size impact, and align stakeholders on priority using a data-backed approach (RICE/ICE, opportunity sizing).
Execution & Delivery
- Write crisp PRDs/specs with user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and success metrics.
- Lead sprint planning with engineering: scope breakdown, sequencing, trade-offs, and release planning.
- Drive high-quality execution: QA/UAT readiness, documentation, release notes, internal enablement.
- Ensure features ship on time with strong product quality and minimal ambiguity.
Metrics, Analytics & Iteration
- Define and own success metrics: activation, engagement, retention, conversion, churn, NPS, feature adoption.
- Partner with data/engineering to ensure proper event instrumentation.
- Run post-launch reviews and iterate based on actual usage/impact.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Growth/Marketing for GTM: positioning, onboarding flows, tooltips, email/WhatsApp nudges, and enablement assets.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success to improve product-led conversion and reduce time-to-value.
- Collaborate with Support/Ops to reduce recurring issues and improve reliability and user experience.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience (preferably B2B SaaS).
- Proven track record of shipping products/features end-to-end with engineering and design.
- Strong PRD writing and requirement clarity; you can think through edge cases and workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset: funnels, cohorts, instrumentation, and KPI ownership.
- Experience in agile execution (sprints, backlogs, prioritization) using tools like Jira/Shortcut/Linear.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Good-to-Have (Strong Plus)
- Experience in messaging, CRM, marketing automation, or engagement platforms.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp ecosystem constraints (templates, approvals, deliverability, rate limits) or similar policy-driven platforms.
- Experience with integrations (webhooks, APIs), workflow builders, segmentation engines, or analytics dashboards.
- Ability to write basic SQL and/or work hands-on in Mixpanel/Amplitude/GA.
- Experience working in high-scale environments (high-volume events/queues, reliability-sensitive systems).
