Job Description
Own Strategy Scoping Execution Delivery Iteration for AI-driven solutions (LLM, Workflow Automation, NLP). Help define the vision, accurately estimate technical effort, and ship industry-leading products.
What youll do
- Own the full product lifecycle: Ideation, technical scoping, roadmap planning, sprint execution, launch, and post-launch iteration.
- Bridge the gap: Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical specifications and user stories that engineers and data scientists can execute on.
- Estimate and prioritize: Use your Computer Science background to accurately scope the "Level of Effort" for features; prevent scope creep by anticipating technical risks early.
- Architect workflows: Design complex automation flows that integrate LLMs and standard logic to streamline user processes.
- Drive the roadmap: Balance long-term AI innovation with immediate market needs; manage timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Validate performance: Define KPIs (accuracy, latency, user adoption) and use data to iterate on models and features.
- Market intelligence: Monitor the AI landscape (new models, competitive features) to keep Tipstat ahead of the curve.
What makes you a great fit
- 3+ years in Technical Product Management with a focus on AI, ML, or data-heavy products.
- CS Background: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science (or equivalent); you understand the code behind the product and can speak the engineers language.
- Technical Fluency: Deep familiarity with LLMs, RAG, NLP, and Computer Vision. You know the difference between a prompt engineering fix and a model fine-tuning requirement.
- Execution mindset: Proven track record of shipping complex products in Agile environments; ability to manage trade-offs between speed and quality.
- Precision Scoping: You are famous for accurate timelines because you understand the underlying architecture and dependencies.
- Communication: You can explain "Transformer architecture" to a CEO and "Business ROI" to a Backend Engineer.
AI & Product Tools (experience required)
- Roadmapping & Agile Management: Jira, Linear, Aha!, Productboard (managing backlogs and sprints).
- AI Research & Prototyping: ChatGPT/Claude (for spec writing/brainstorming), OpenAI Playground, Hugging Face (exploring model capabilities).
- Documentation & Knowledge: Notion, Confluence (creating technical PRDs and functional specs).
- Design & Flowcharting: Figma, Miro, Lucidchart (visualizing agentic workflows and user journeys).
- Analytics & Data: Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Basic SQL (querying usage data independently).
- Automation: Make/Zapier/n8n (understanding how to orchestrate workflows).
Bonus if youve...
- Deployed models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Built your own AI demos using tools like LangChain or Streamlit.
- Managed MLOps pipelines or have experience with version control for models.
