Product Manager, AI Safety Services

The impact you’ll make

  • Catalyze responsible AI: Deliver product experiences that let customers identify and mitigate risks before their models reach users.

  • Balance safety & velocity: Define workflows that integrate seamlessly into fast‑moving ML pipelines—so customers can ship safely at pace.

  • Set industry benchmarks: Translate emerging best practices in alignment, robustness, and interpretability into scalable, user‑friendly products.

What you’ll do

  • Own product vision & strategy for AI safety evaluation platforms, adversarial‑testing services, and drift‑monitoring solutions.

  • Deeply understand customer needs through discovery calls, shadow sessions, and data analysis; synthesize insights into clear product requirements.

  • Prioritize ruthlessly: Maintain a transparent, metrics‑driven roadmap that balances near‑term customer requests with long‑term strategic bets.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with AI engineers, platform engineers, designers, and safety researchers to ship valuable increments every sprint.

  • Define success: Establish KPIs (e.g., test coverage, time‑to‑detection, customer adoption) and track them through launch, rollout, and iteration.

  • Represent the customer in architecture discussions, ensuring UX, performance, and security meet enterprise expectations.

  • Evangelize AI safety best practices internally and with clients, contributing thought leadership via blogs, conference talks, and webinars.

Experiences you’ll bring

  • 4+ years in product management for B2B SaaS, developer tools, or ML/AI platforms—owning roadmap, backlog, and cross‑functional delivery.

  • Demonstrated success launching data‑ or ML‑intensive products that achieved measurable customer impact.

  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers, capturing requirements, and translating feedback into actionable product plans.

  • Proven ability to operate in agile environments, shipping iterative value while aligning stakeholders on long‑term vision.

Core skills you'll need

  • Product leadership: Expert in defining vision, prioritizing features, and making trade‑offs based on data and customer value.

  • Technical fluency: Comfortable discussing LLM architectures, prompt engineering, evaluation metrics, and cloud deployment basics with engineering teams.

  • Customer empathy & UX mindset: Skilled at discovery interviews, journey mapping, and turning qualitative insights into usable product flows.

  • Data‑driven decision‑making: Proficient with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Mixpanel, Looker) to define and track KPIs.

  • Communication & influence: Clear, concise storytelling to align executives, engineers, and customers around a shared roadmap.

Nice to have: Experience with AI safety frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 42001), or open‑source contributions to ML tooling.
