Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid 4 days onsite, Friday WFH)
Experience: 10+ years
Time Zone: US EST collaboration required
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Manager PLM Transformation to lead a future state PLM transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for assessing current PLM processes, defining a future-ready PLM vision, and driving large-scale transformation across the product lifecycle within the CPG industry.
You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring PLM solutions align with enterprise strategy, compliance needs, and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Current State Assessment and Gap Analysis
- Lead assessment and redesign of PLM processes aligned with CPG best practices
- Document current PLM processes, systems, and data flows across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Product Development
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and manual dependencies
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and interviews
Future State Design and Roadmap
- Define future-state business processes and operating models
- Develop business use cases, process flows, and capability maps
- Align PLM capabilities with enterprise PLM vision and digital transformation strategy
Requirements Management
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Maintain a structured, traceable requirements backlog
- Collaborate with PLM architects and solution vendors
Testing and Validation
- Support UAT, test planning, and validation activities
- Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business needs
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business and IT teams
- Support change management, training, and adoption initiatives
- Provide inputs to migration and onboarding strategies
Communication and Delivery
- Ensure effective communication across offshore and onshore teams
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field
- 810+ years of experience in PLM systems analysis, implementation, and management
- Hands-on experience with FlexPLM, Windchill, ThingWorx, and CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, Freeform, and ArtiosCAD
- Strong experience in business process analysis and system integration across the product development lifecycle
Preferred
- Experience leading large-scale PLM transformation programs in the CPG industry
- Knowledge of digital thread, digital twin, or model-based enterprise concepts
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones
