Job Description
Sutherland is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept individual to join us as a Senior Product Implementation SME (Subject Matter Expert). We are a fast-paced, innovation-driven team focused on building secure, scalable, and intelligent technology solutions. If you are experienced in AI, Windows, PC hardware, and networking, and have a passion for solving complex problems, we’d love to work with you.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- AI & Automation Support: Assist in implementing AI-driven tools and intelligent automation features across product deployments; contribute to use case testing and improvement.
- Technical Implementation: Lead or assist in the deployment of Sutherland-developed tools and solutions across client environments.
- Windows Expertise: Troubleshoot and configure environments primarily based on Windows 10/11, including policy configurations, updates, and endpoint settings.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve production-level bugs, security concerns, and performance issues; develop scripts for automating tasks.
- Client Collaboration: Maintain strong client relationships, understand business needs, and deliver high-quality implementation outcomes.
- Networking & Security: Support network configurations, firewall rules, proxy setups, and endpoint security checks during implementations.
- PC Hardware Support: Provide expertise in diagnosing hardware issues (e.g., memory, CPU, disk), and advise on hardware-software compatibility
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience:
- 2–3 years in IT implementation, tech support, or product rollout roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows 11, system administration, and desktop troubleshooting
- Familiarity with AI technologies, automation tools, or data-driven platforms
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Batch, etc.)
- Exposure to networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IP configuration
- Understanding of hardware diagnostics, BIOS/UEFI settings, and driver-level troubleshooting
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or MCP/MCSA
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent cybersecurity credential
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and PC hardware components
- Basic understanding of AI-driven applications and tech trends
- Effective communicator; capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to learning and execution
