Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Define long-term product roadmap aligned with brand positioning and growth plans.
- Build differentiated product architecture across age groups, occasions, and price tiers.
- Identify white spaces and innovation opportunities within the kidswear segment.
2. P&L & Commercial Ownership
- Own category-level revenue, gross margin, and inventory health.
- Drive pricing strategy, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Manage OTB planning and seasonal financial targets.
3. Range & Assortment Planning
- Lead seasonal buying cycles and range development.
- Ensure balanced mix of fashion, core, essentials, and seasonal products.
- Optimize depth, breadth, and SKU productivity.
4. Sourcing & Vendor Strategy
- Work closely with sourcing team to develop vendor base aligned to quality and cost benchmarks.
- Drive lead time reduction and supply chain efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to brand and compliance standards.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Operations, VM, Marketing, and Supply Chain for seamless product execution.
- Ensure timely launches aligned with store expansion plans.
- Drive performance reviews through weekly and monthly trade meetings.
6. Market Intelligence & Trend Direction
- Track consumer insights, competition benchmarks, and emerging global trends.
- Translate trend inputs into commercially viable product offerings.
