Product Head - Gold Loan

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management

Developing New Products, schemes, incentive structure and modification in existing products in the gold loan segment

Approval, Rollout & Training of new product and schemes to all stakeholders.

Portfolio management and managing product features.

Managing product and process strategy for gold loan also help imagine products with different models for acquisition (e.g. product offerings through various channel tie-ups)

Monitoring performance and profitability of schemes and products.

Conceptualization and executing marketing activities for increasing direct business.

Liaising with stakeholders across different teams (policy, operations, risk, compliance, marketing etc.) for the product team.

Process, Policy Management

Work along with other stakeholders to create & streamline the process with a Digital First approach

Work along with Policy & Credit teams to bring about changes in policy as required

Sales Support & Channel Development

Developing new business channels, including alternate and Digital

Designing & implementing campaigns, sales contests and programs to grow business

Supporting the sales teams in their various requirements

Meeting key stakeholders like Channel Partners, Online Aggregators to get their feedback

Performance Management

Managing the internal sales team and external channel partners for acquiring business and P&L responsibility.

Preparing hiring strategy, scorecard and ensuring increase in productivity of the team.

Setting targets basis budgets, cost and revenue and to design incentive strategy for contests for the internal sales team and third party channel.

Ensuring audits, compliance and sales errors are within the necessary guidelines

Competition Benchmarking

Maintain data on competition and external market and suggest suitable modifications

Special Projects

Design & Develop various functionalities as per requirement

Strategic Initiatives

Analyzing MIS and Analytics to give high level inputs and strategy to the senior management to implement initiatives.

Responsible for designing strategy for resource allocation, new tie ups, cross selling campaigns through referrers, policy and process improvement.

Understand application processing for gold loan across different operating models and look to recommend possible improvement

Portfolio Attrition Management

Responsible for portfolio attrition and re-alignment of strategy.

Portfolio planning and trend analysis

Managing customer interactions and escalations

Training

Conduct and execute training programs for sales teams on the product offerings

Handle sales support, budgeting, campaigns for the product/ business

Essential Qualifications & Experience :

Graduate from any stream, MBA would be preferred

6-10 years of relevant experience in gold loan industry

3+ years of experience on product management
