Tiffyn is a consumer AI startup founded by ex-Amazonians who have previously built and exited a tech company. Were building a product that helps households decide what to cook and what to buy by combining a mobile app, backend systems, and AI-driven logic. Our goal is to make everyday food decisions simpler, more efficient, and less wasteful.

We are early, founder-led, and hands-on.

Were looking for a Product Engineer who is comfortable building with AI tools like Claude Code and understands systems well enough to guide them toward the right outcomes.

This role is not about knowing everything by heart. Its about knowing how to reason, validate, and iterate until something works correctly in production.

Youll work closely with the founders and CTO and have real ownership over what ships.

• Build and ship features across the mobile app and backend.
• Work with React Native, APIs, and backend services.
• Use Claude Code actively to prototype, implement, refactor, and debug.
• Review AI-generated code critically and correct it where needed.
• Identify when something looks wrong and know how to fix it.
• Improve and evolve code written by external vendors.
• Handle real production issues and see their impact directly.
• Take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.

• 25 years of experience building production software.
• Good understanding of how frontend, backend, and APIs work together.
• Comfort working with React Native and backend systems.
• Strong reasoning skills and ability to debug and validate code.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code.
• Ability to go back and forth with AI tools to arrive at correct solutions.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and minimal process.
• Bias toward shipping and improving rather than perfecting.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

• Experience working in early-stage startups.
• Exposure to consumer products.
• Interest in AI-driven or data-heavy systems.

Youll help define how we build software at Tiffyn. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking, engineering judgment, and AI-assisted development. Your work will directly shape the product and how fast we move.
