Role: Product Engineer (Mid-level Senior)

Location: Pune (Hybrid / In-office preferred) must be Pune-based

AtTheRate.ai is building the next-generation Marketing AI Operating System a platform where autonomous AI agents plan, analyze, and execute campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit , and more.

Were creating an AI-native command center that helps marketers orchestrate, optimize, and automate campaigns in real time.

• Ship fast, but dont ship sloppy
• Think in product outcomes , not just tickets
• Can own a feature end-to-end (frontend + backend + data)
• Care deeply about UX, reliability, and performance
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, copilots, etc.) to move faster and smarter

• Build product features across Next.js / React + Node.js (and Python where needed)
• Design and implement APIs, workflows, and data pipelines that power AI-driven experiences
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability (you build it, you own it)
• Collaborate closely with product/design from spec release
• Write clean, testable code and raise engineering quality across the board

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript , React, Node.js
• API design, auth, async systems, background jobs
• SQL basics (Postgres preferred), data modeling mindset
• Debugging in production: logs, traces, metrics, incident thinking
• Comfort working in ambiguity and turning ideas into shipped features

• Experience with SaaS / B2B platforms
• Familiarity with queues (BullMQ, etc.), caching, and performance tuning
• Experience building AI-driven or data-heavy products
• Exposure to MarTech / Ads platforms (Google/Meta/Amazon)

• High ownership in a real AI product used by real businesses
• Work closely with senior engineers building core systems
• Fast iteration, direct feedback loops, meaningful responsibility
